How would you feel if, for the rest of the semester, you could finally get out of your head, out of your own way, and actually complete your to-do list each week?

I’m feeling overwhelmed with all of the tasks and assignments that I have to do and I don’t know where to start.
— Every Grad Student Ever

This story doesn’t just belong to you! Time management IS a struggle in grad school.

What do you see every week? An endless list of tasks to get done without a clear idea of where to start.

What don’t you see? Anyone sharing how to get it all done.

And what do you hear? That this is just how grad school is. Everyone is overwhelmed and struggling.

But that doesn’t have to be true all of the time. What if, occasionally, you could figure out how to manage your time, actually get work done, and complete your to-do list?

What if you could have your most productive week ever?

What if you learned a new way to plan your week, introduced accountability, and stopped going at it alone?

Imagine how it would feel if you had your most productive week ever.

What would that look like? I want you to find out.

Here's what it could look like:

The above are the accomplishments of some of the grad students who went through the 3-Step Productive Week Framework! They got all of this done in just one week. And on Saturday, when I asked them how they felt, they said they didn't feel burnt out at all! In fact, they were still motivated to get more work done.

Your Most Productive Week Ever

Your Most Productive Week Ever is an accountability and productivity program for grad students that also teaches you time management. Here's how it works:

1. I teach you my unique way of weekly planning (the productivity accelerator method). I've recorded a planning session that you can watch every single week when you want to plan your most productive week ever.

2. Then I share I how to create a realistic and manageable to-do list everyday by helping you prioritize what is important.

3. There is also an accountability Facebook group for members of the program. In the group, you will share your goals and accomplishments and invite the other members to have co-working sessions with you. You can get sooo much done when you aren't working alone.

4. There is Zoom room just for members that is available for co-working sessions 24/7. So you can co-work anytime you want!

5. Once you have access to the program, you are in forever!

Co-Working Sessions

Remember, in Your Most Productive Week Ever, you can co-work whenever you want. The Zoom co-working space is available whenever you want the accountability of working with others. During the co-working sessions, we implement the Pomodoro Technique, a time management tool. There are already members inside the group working together!

Hi, I’m Toyin!

When I started my PhD program in Mathematics, I assumed that I would knock out my 48 required hours of coursework in two years and then complete my research and defend my dissertation in 1 year. Ha! I was so young and so naive.

Grad school kicked my butt!

It definitely took me the full 5 years to earn my degree.

But grad school wasn’t all bad. I made friends, tried new restaurants, took vacations, and got in the best shape of my life!

Looking back, I realized that it was my time management skills, along with hard work and dedication, that allowed me to still live a life that I loved while I was in grad school. I figured out, early on how to listen to my body and create a productive schedule for myself that gave me the structure I needed to be successful.

And when I landed my dream job as a Lecturer at a university, I took those time management principles with me and even improved them.

That’s when I started The Academic Society to help grad students and new faculty members with time management and productivity.

My goal is for every academic to learn that they can be successful and live a fulfilled life at the same time!
